The Ephesians Prayer
My dear friends,
I am arriving in Pennsylvania today to visit family and friends. Both our adult children and our future daughter-in-law have ventured on this trip with Rick and me, so I know we'll be having a great time! My access to the Internet may be limited, and I will probably not post an article on Friday. We won't be headed back to Florida until next Monday, but I hope to have a new posting by then, one way or the other! Stay tuned.

I've been talking about how the devil doesn't want you to be successful in your marriage or Christian walk and will continue to bombard you with negative thoughts to sidetrack you. He wants you to be weighed down with lots of baggage from your past. We need to learn to control our thoughts and get rid of those ideas that hinder our relationships with God and our spouse.
The best way I've discovered to fight the enemy is to pray the Ephesians prayer every day. I wanted to share it with you because it is very powerful. I say it out loud every morning and let the old devil know I mean business. He can't mess with me!!
Ephesians 10:11,12- "Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
The greatest accomplishment of the devil has been to convince people that he doesn't exist. If you are not sure of his presence, check it out in the Bible. He's all over the place there!
Ephesians Prayer
I am standing in You Lord, and in the power of Your might.
I put on the whole armor of God and do stand against the plans of the devil.
In the name of Jesus, I bind the principalities, the powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world.

In the name of Jesus, I bind the principalities, the powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world.
I bind and cast down spiritual wickedness in high places, and render them harmless and ineffective against me and my loved ones.
I resist you devil in the name of Jesus and I stand my ground!
I have the belt of truth buckled around my waste, the truth of God that sets me free.
I have on the breastplate of righteousness that covers my heart, my body, my vital organs and shows me I am in right standing with my God.
My feet are shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace, and I take those feet and I stomp on serpents and scorpions, for I have been given the authority over all your power, devil.
I place the helmet of salvation securely on my head for I have the mind of Christ.
The only spirit I will follow is the Spirit of the Living God which lives inside me and speaks to me from within.
I take the shield of faith and I quench every arrow you throw at me devil.
I take the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, and I pierce through your wicked plans. For it is written, all I have to do is submit myself to God and tell you to flee, and you have to go - so GO in the Name of Jesus!
I place the blood of Jesus over me, my family, my homes, my debts, my cars, my possessions, all of which belong to God, and I serve notice that your power is broken devil, over me and mine, in the name of Jesus!
Thank you Lord! Send people my way to minister to today. Amen!
